Up to now, Snikus rankings had a fairness problem: the earliest startups on the platform had months of accumulated followers, likes, and posts that no new founder could realistically catch up to. Today that changes.
Seasons
Rankings now run in Seasons — repeating competitive periods where every startup, old or brand new, starts fresh at zero. Season 1 is one week, Season 2 is three weeks, Season 3 is a month, and Season 4 onward settles into a steady two months, forever. Short early Seasons on purpose, so new founders arriving this month get a real shot at the leaderboard almost immediately.
The Hall of Founders
When a Season ends, its top performer becomes that Season's Champion — recorded permanently in the new Hall of Founders page, alongside every month's top 10 once Seasons run long enough to contain full months. It never gets overwritten, never resets. It's the one part of Snikus rankings that's built to only ever grow.
Your all-time score, on your own profile, hasn't changed at all — Seasons are a second, parallel scoreboard for who's winning right now, not a replacement for what you've built over time. Read the full breakdown in What are Seasons and The Hall of Founders, explained.
