Community rules & reporting
Snikus is built for founders sharing real progress with a real audience — spam, harassment, fake engagement, and scam content all work directly against that, and all of it is actively moderated, both automatically and by a human team.
What's not allowed
- Spam — mass-follow bait, "buy followers"-style phrases, unsolicited promotional links
- Explicit or NSFW content
- Harassment, hate speech, or targeted abuse
- Scam and phishing attempts, including fake investment/giveaway bait
- Contact-harvesting in public posts (e.g. posting a phone number to bait DMs) — this specific rule is relaxed inside private Messenger conversations, since two people who are already messaging each other sharing a number is normal, not spam
The full, plain-language versions of these rules live on Snikus's Rules and User Agreement pages, linked from the site footer.
Reporting something
Every post, comment, and profile has a report option built directly into it — no need to leave the page or find a separate contact form. Every single report goes to a real review queue; reporting something never removes it automatically on its own, so genuine content can't be taken down just by a handful of people reporting it in bad faith.
If your own content gets flagged
If something you posted gets removed, or your account is restricted in some way, your Account Health page shows exactly what action was taken and why — not a vague notice, the actual reason. If you believe it was a mistake, you can file an appeal directly from that same page, and it goes to a person for a second look.
Automated spam filtering
Alongside human review, a lightweight automatic filter runs on everything posted in real time — known spam phrases, contact-harvesting patterns, explicit content, and excessive link-dropping get caught and blocked before they're ever published, rather than being removed after the fact. Content that gets reported repeatedly also triggers a deeper, second-pass check with a wider wordlist, specifically to catch attempts at evading the first filter (creative spelling, leetspeak substitutions, and similar tricks).
This same filtering approach — the same underlying rules — also protects Feedback Stories and comments on official.snikus.com, so the standard for what's acceptable is consistent everywhere across Snikus, not just on the main app.
